The discipline
Exterior work has to survive long rains, hard sun and dust — and still look considered five years later. That rules out a lot of finishes that photograph well and fail quickly.
We design façades, entrances and compounds as a single composition: cladding and colour, the way light falls across the elevation at dusk, where the eye lands as a car turns in, and how water is going to leave the building. Then we specify materials that hold up.
What is included
Whole-elevation transformations or a single targeted intervention.
Re-composition of elevations using cladding, texture, colour blocking and shadow lines to give a flat building depth and rhythm.
Natural stone, engineered panel, WPC, aluminium composite and timber-effect systems, specified for Kenyan exposure and correctly detailed at junctions.
Porches, porticos, feature doors, canopies and drop-off areas that signal arrival and give shelter that actually works in the rain.
Driveways, walkways, terraces, planting beds and lawns coordinated with the building so the compound reads as one design.
Façade wash, path lighting, bollards and feature uplighting on timers or sensors, using IP-rated fittings suited to outdoor life.
Boundary walls, gates, railings and screens designed to be secure without turning the property into a compound of blank concrete.
Typical works
Priced individually so you can stage the work over more than one season if needed.

“An exterior has to work twice: once at forty kilometres an hour from the road, and once at walking pace at the front door.
How it runs
Weather-dependent, but most residential elevations complete within four to eight weeks.
We photograph and measure every elevation, note drainage, orientation and existing defects, and check the substrate.
Week 1
Two or three treated elevation options with material call-outs and a day and dusk view.
Week 1 – 2
Physical samples of cladding, stone, render and paint reviewed on site in natural light.
Week 2
Itemised pricing with a weather-allowance programme and scaffolding or access plan.
Week 2 – 3
Substrate repair, waterproofing, fixing systems and finishes applied in sequence with quality checks at each stage.
Week 3 onwards
Paving, planting and lighting completed last, site cleared, and a joint inspection of every elevation.

Access and scaffolding are planned to keep at least one entrance clear at all times, and noisy operations are scheduled into agreed windows. For commercial buildings we routinely work outside trading hours.
